Mother's Day Bracelets

Hi all! So today I made my first sale of my Mommy and Me Mother's Day bracelets. Here's what they looked like...
The idea came from a woman on one of the garage sale sites on Facebook that I sell on. She asked if I could make one bracelet that said "Ryder <3 Mommy". I designed the bracelet but thought it would be super special if there was also a matching one for Ryder! So the idea formed... Mother's are a special kind of friend, one that's irreplaceable. Friendship bracelets have long been used to display true friendship between two people. Mommy and Me bracelets are a way to tell your mom that you love her AND that you're lifelong friends.

Since making these two, I've designed a few other patterns for Mother's Day bracelets... "I <3 YOU MOM" and "BEST MOM EVER" along with designs for bracelets for my sister-in-law and her daughter, my other sister-in-law and the baby that she's carrying, and very special mother and daughter bracelets for one of the nicest women I've ever met. I'll post pictures of the patterns tomorrow, as I don't have it in me this morning to take pictures and write something amazing about them. =P

As always... Happy Crafting! (:

Happy Birthday!

Yesterday was my 19th birthday! (: It was also my husband's cousin's 19th birthday yesterday, how weird is that? Today is Bob Marley's birthday! In honor of Mr. Marley, I made rasta colored bracelets...

I made a tiny one first for Shane's cousin. Shane said he wanted one, so I thought I'd make him a GIANT one. It actually turned out bigger than I thought it would.... So now he gets the one below (:

I kinda like the pattern I used... What do you think? Would you wear a bracelet like this? What colors would you like to see in one of my bracelets?

Graduation Year Friendship Bracelet - 2013 -

For the last few days I've been working on a bracelet pattern that I hope is going to be a big hit! It's graduation year friendship bracelets!

The bracelet come in Small (5"), Medium (7"), Large (9"), and Xtra Large (11").

This is my little sister-in-law(8) modeling the size small.

The bracelet can be made in any TWO colors!

Choose either Loose or Braided ends to tie your bracelet around your wrist.

Your graduation class isn't just a mass of people finishing school at the same time...It's people you laugh, cry, dance, and fight with for most of your life so far. It's a few people that will affect the rest of your life in some way. What better way to show how close you are, and your school spirit, than with an unique, handmade 2013* Graduation Year Friendship Bracelet!?

What year did you graduate? What were your school colors? Leave a comment with your answer! Let's see who had the craziest color combo!

Next post will be how I make my homemade envelopes!

American Flag Bracelets

My split American Flag bracelet is becoming my most popular bracelet on etsy right now. The last three orders I've had have all been the flag bracelet. I have two American flag bracelets on etsy...

Fourth of July. Red, White and Blue Friendship Bracelet

AND

American Flag Friendship Bracelet -Stars and Stripes-

I'm not sure why one is more popular than the other... Which do you like better? Oh and another question... Do you like the pictures with or without the watermark?
-------------------------------------------------------

On a side note I am really bad at making post titles. After a few minutes of scratching my head I just decided to title it American Flag Bracelets because I couldn't think of anything else.

ALSO.........
I really like crocheting (:

It's been quite a long time since I posted on here last... But in my defense I was going to school full time AND I was working three part time jobs, so I didn't have a lot of extra time on my hands. A lot has happened since my last post so let's do a little recap of everything that has happened in chronological order...

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! (: As a little girl I mostly dressed up as a witch, I was obsessed with Harry Potter growing up and still love the books. Inspired by all the pumpkins I see on porch steps I decided to make a Jack'o lantern bracelet. By next year I'll have this bracelet, and others like it, up in my Etsy shop, and possibly on here as well.
Enjoy your night! (: Boo!

So It's Been A While

So it's been a while since I last got the motivation to post here... But I'm becoming more and more motivated by a certain handsome man in my life to start developing my small etsy business into something worthwhile. I've made a few new bracelets since my last post: a couple fireman inspired bracelets, a new American flag bracelet, a peacock inspired bracelet, and I'm working on a Jack o' Lantern bracelet. I'm not sure if I'll have the pumpkin bracelet up on etsy before Halloween but I'm going to try. I also have a Christmas tree bracelet pattern that I've made before that I'd like to put on my shop, along with a couple of other Christmasy types.

A new craft that I'm becoming obsessed with is wine bottle vases. I've made at least 8 and they are all sitting on my desk in my crafting room. I think they're beautiful and I'm hoping that my customers will agree (:

I've also become hooked on crocheting! (: Two weeks ago I watched a Youtube video on how to crochet a double crochet stitch. So for the last two weeks I've been making scarves. The very first one was a mess-up. It's a cowl and it has a twist in it. The second scarf is a cowl that DOESN'T have a twist in it (: The third scarf I made is a small rectangular, rainbow patterned scarf. And the very last one is my favorite so far, it's a very long rectangular, teal scarf, which I finished today. Tomorrow or the next day I will post pictures of my latest crocheted creations. (:

Have a creative day!!
